I’ve seen God at work in my life as He gives me wisdom and understanding about worldly and heavenly authority. Especially in the day-to-day hustle of corporate America, it’s easy to forget that God is the ultimate authority. We all have bills and bosses and responsibilities, and sometimes power and influence are abused or wasted, but God has given me peace of mind by showing me that everyone is accountable to Him. There’s endless freedom in knowing that when I choose God as the ultimate authority in my life, I’m free from the shackles of worldly matters and the pressures of “living up” to others’ expectations. God is in control, and He is sovereign over all.
