Big Idea: God blesses us so that we may bless and pray for the nations to know, delight and fear Him

I) Pray for the nations to know God (1-2)

II) Pray for the nations to delight in God (3-5))

Application: Let Scripture be your words & open your eyes to the spiritual needs of the nations

  • Pray in the mundanes (the 10,000 little moments of your days)

  • Pray as it relates to the culture, history, and current event of the nation

  • Pray being sensitive & aware of God's timing

Human power is no match for God's power(Acts 5:12-5:42)


Big Idea: Human power is no match for God's power

  • You can trust it, fear it, or hate it, but you cannot deny God's power (5:12-17)

  • God gets the last laugh just when you think his power has been handcuffed (5:18-26)

  • God's unstoppable power & authority demand our unwavering loyalty and obedience (5:27-32)

  • God's unstoppable power is our source of joy and courage when we face opposition (5:33-42)

Big Idea: King Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to empower his people for the mission.
